Can sarcoidosis return after many years?

I was diagnosed with sarcoidosis in 2007 and it lasted until 2010. By then I had put all my lost weight back on and a CT scan confirmed that it had cleared up. I thought that was the end of it. However last year I started to lose weight again and I have now lost 2.5 stones and I am very thin. I had a dry irritating cough which lasted for about a month but cleared up. Apart from this the only other possible symptom I have is blurry eyes and slight red veins in them. I had this, only much worse, plus other symptoms last time round so I recognised the symptoms. However, I have had a chest Xray and a CT scan and both were clear. Has anyone else experienced a recurrence of sarcoidosis many years later? I would be interested in hearing about your experience, especially if, like me, you had problems getting a definite diagnosis.
