I had the starter pack of Ropinerole about 3 weeks ago, building up to 1.5mg. Does anyone else have really bad hallucinations at the beginning of the night? It's not *imagined* things, but objects changing shape. It's a bit less now but still happens enough to know its still there. Thanks!

I take them in halves now throughout the night (the long green ones) as I don't like the side effects and also after a few hours they give you insomnia but I don't remember having hallucinations, try cutting down your dose.
yes i had them, until my system got used to the drug, but sounds like your having worse ones than i did, then it wore of, depends how bad your getting the hallucinations as to wether you should stay on them i think, but i would talk to your doctor about it
Hi its one of the side effects from this drug. it should pass after aweek or so bit if not go back to your GP. also you should of had a sheet with your tablets telling you all about the side effects and what to do. With some side effects it tells you to stop taking the ropinrol and go back to your GP so well worth reading up on it. if you havnt got the sheet then look it up on the internet. hope this helps. Hi, yes, it is listed as a side effect. I've had some very spaced out dreams on Ropinirole - it's like I'm hallucinating while I'm asleep. One night, I was so convinced that there was a killer mouse in the bed that I'd leapt out of bed, thrown off the duvet, charged across the room and went bang straight into the wall before I'd properly woken up! Makes for an interesting night, but at least my legs weren't twitching ...
Thank you I now take 0.5mg about 9pm and the 1mg just as I go to bed - seems to work ok, well no more hallucinations, could also be as Riverdancer said and my body is now used to the dose.
Still waiting to get more sleep though, I'm really tired, day and night, only getting about 3 hours sleep, not sure why.
Angierob - I haven't had any killer mice but my cats fur was moving a lot lol!
Hi secret dancer, perhaps your cat could put paid to my killer mouse! Really hope you're able to get more sleep soon. For me, ropinirole is a wonder drug - when it works (ie when I don't give in to temptation and have the forbidden foods after 7pm!), I sleep pretty well.
