Question…. So when I withdraw from ropinerol, I will still have the RLS only worse. I remember before I started it, and life was a nightmare. At least I get some sleep now.

I assume you are currently on Ropinerol.
You definitely will get augmentation at some time in the future.
Your options at present are to await that moment and get off the Rop then.
After that pleasant experience, your options are many.
Depending on the knowledgeability of your doctors.
Alpha2 ligands are first choice-- Horizant, Pregabalin, or Gabapentin.
Next up are the opioids-- methodone, tramadol, oxycodones and buprenorphine. Etc.
All the alternatives have side effects.
I suggest you talk with your provider and discuss those options.
The Mayo algorithm is a good starting point.
Good luck.
I gave you advice. You can control your RLS after you get off ropinirole and your doctor did want that.
