Thank you so much for all the replies! Will definitely try an email to see if it is possible to get advice regarding treatment of augmentation.

After many years of using pramipexole in increasing doses, I now have augmentation that is killing me - and as I am 83 years old, it is limited what may be left.

In the medical center where I go, augmentation is a foreign word to at least the medical secretaries - so it can't be much used in the records.

I've just spoken to an elderly lady who also has restless legs and goes to the same clinic, but to a different doctor to mine. She has just like my been put on higher doses of pramipexole due to aggravation - never been told about augmentation.

This is Denmark - a small country with too few inhabitants for even neurologists to get acquainted with patients who have received augmentation - and thus have not familiarized themselves with new knowledge about the treatment of RLS.

But with the advice I have received from here and relatives who will now take action, your advice and help will perhaps result in a small “revolution” in Denmark. 😊

I do hope so. I know Germany still prescribes Levodopa as first line treatment and Denmark follows Germany.I can't bear to think of all those people in their 80s suffering from such cruel, negligent treatment.
