It’s not on the huge list of contra-indicated medicines on the post from Jules1953 two days ago.

I'm not allowed paste the copy from the Google search. But basically all those medications interfere with dopamine receptors and " may" cause rls.

So you could try it for a few days and see what happens.

As Madlegs1 mentioned Meclizine can exacerbate RLS symptoms in some people, but not all, so you could try it and note your reaction.

I also was prescribed this drug for vertigo. It did not help my balance problems, and did seem to make my rsl symptoms worse.

Is your RLS under control?

Yes for the most part, unless I take a no no medication.

Have you had your ferritin checked?

So I assume then you are taking iron tablets for it with at least a 100 mg of vitamin C or some orange juice at least an hour before a meal or coffee or at least two hours after a meal or coffee and preferably at night.

I actually have a bladder condition that does not allow me to have citrus at all, I do take it in the am with my smoothie that has apples in it... The iron is in liquid form

It is best absorbed on an empty stomach unless that bothers you in which case better that than nothing.

Meclizine took my RLS symptoms to an awful level and stayed for days.
