Does anyone take Topamax for RLS? I take ropinerole and don’t sleep without it but suffer some horrible side effects. Apparently Topamax comes with little or no side effects so would be interested in knowing people’s experiences?

It can cause weight loss, but otherwise may be successful for rls treatment.
In rare cases, it has actually caused rls.
The only way to find out, is to try it .

I've not tried it myself, but I've read that topiramate has some similarities to gabapentin or pregabalin. Certainly, side effects appear no better. However, whereas gabapentin can cause weight gain, topiramate can cause weight loss.
