This is my fourth night with absolutely no sleep whatsoever and I’m losing my grip on reality. I’ve been using neupro patches for ages but am now being weaned off them as they started causing the very symptoms they were supposed to help.
As expected my rls is now off the charts and I’m now getting the same sensations in my arms and hands🤪.
All I want is to go to sleep, just for a couple of hours.
I’ve a hospital appointment at 9am and I’m pretty sure that they are going to take me down to 2mg which means that things will get worse and I don’t know if I’ll be able to cope.
I’m really scared that this is going to tip me over the edge.

Make sure you say precisely that, at the hospital.

+1 on Madlegs1 - they should and can replace the patch with any number of drugs - Tramadol, Targinact, Codeine, Lyrica and Clonazepam to mention a few.
You need something to help the RLS AND to help with the withdrawal from the patch. 2mg is the max for the patch so you are dropping to the max level!!!
I know I am a bit late with this but please read and educate yourself:
