Neupro patches up to 2mg Saturday ,Sunday and Monday great and good sleep. Tues/Wednesday my legs are worse than ever...its just after 12.30pm and no peace. I wonder if pramipexele still coming out my system? Walking up and down the hall .

You have switched from Pramipexole, a Dopamine Agonist (DA) to Neupro (Rotigotine) which is another DA. Since they're both DAs, then you shouldn't get any withdrawal symptoms from the Pramipexole.

I don't know what the reason for the switch was, but if you had a problem with Pramipexole, then you're likely to have the same problem with Rotigotine.

I have read a study that found that switching to a slow release DA can relieve augmentation if that was your problem with Pramipexole, but it was only one study and it was extended release Pramipexole, not Rotigotine.

Rotigotine, I have read, is less likely to cause problems than Pramipexole, IF you had it first. However, you didn't have it before Pramipexole.

Unfortunately, you may find the Neupro isn't going to work for you, but I hope I'm wrong.

My opinion you are having augmentation from the patch. I think you have already said in a previous post you augmented on pramipeole if I remember correctly or they were not working. Did you read the pinned post on about augmentation to see if you had augmented on the pramipexole?

Thanks .....off to the doctor this morning, partly due to legs and partly to slipping of sofa and landing flat on my back a week ago.

Dr as from Saturday upped neupro 3mg...give 2mg another two days.

Back no point in xray. Have a private physio coming tonight. I saw him after knee replacement op....

He's rather nice!!
