Will taking Mucuna Pruriens make it any harder to get off the Neupro Patch? Is it -the MP-the same as all the other drugs that leave us with augmentation?
I’m exhausted...almost 1 week off patch (extremely expensive and very hard on skin). My goal is to only use gabapentin if possible. The Mucuna Pruriens works great, but I’m scared I might just be using something else that may augment?
As far as I'm aware, MP doesn't cause augmentation as such .
It may be addictive, and give bother withdrawing, but some people find it helpful in coping with many conditions.
Gabapentin is very good at relieving rls, if used sensibly.
As always, avoid triggers, and get your ferritin checked.
It may take a while to get off the patch, so take things easy ,it can be cut in pieces to make the process slower.

I haven’t heard of MP causing Augmentation. As Madlegs says, it may cause troublesome withdrawal symptoms if taken for long time and then stopped but I haven’t heard anyone suffering withdrawal from MP either.
