I've been prescribed Tramadol by my GP (totally unrelated to RLS). Last night the pain was so bad I took 2 instead of the advised 1. I slept for 10 hours straight ... who needs sleepers????

There is a sedative side to opiates couple that with less pain and discomfort and you have a recipe for a good night's sleep.

I get what feels like internal tremors but I also have essential tremor in my hands and legs. Currently medicated with Primidone with good results. Over the winter months if I catch a chill I get those internal trembling and my body can't sit still, it makes all sorts of strange contortions. Very annoying.
