B-12 and Folate deficiency - something to think about

I have had RLS on and off for years, and it has gotten much worse now that I'm being treated with chemotherapy. To make a long story short, it was recently discovered that I had a severe B-12 and Folate deficiency that was wreaking havoc with my blood platelet levels. The deficiencies were detected with a blood test. I started supplements immediately. As a bonus, I have not has RLS symptoms since I started taking them. Literally - it's gone. Something to investigate perhaps?

Folate and iron deficiency are known to cause RLS. Secondary RLS responds well to iron and methyl folate supplementation.

I’m delighted you are now RLS free.

Great news for you. Long may it last.
