QUALITY OF LIFE STATEMENT

I have read quite a few posts, from posters complaining about the doctors not quite understanding they're seriousness regarding their RLS.

My advice is: so you know for a fact that you haven't forgotten anything at all (why have you not written your quality of life statements)?

I honestly feel it to be Paramount to your relationship with your doctor and you must, simply must, get the description of the symptoms of RLS.

Might not be a bad idea, although I would doubt if many Drs would read them.

You're right Raffs most doctors simply don't care enough about RLS, maybe the reason I did find writing mine easy yes and I am a bit of an author sometimes ... but everything I wrote was 100% accurate, and it finished up sounding (as most Quality of Life Statements do) very angry.

And that's because most of us, if you are like me, spent your entire life suffering with no one giving a crap, so when

someone actually believes you at 48 he says yes you are very ill you have a chronic case of RLS ...... BOOM the penny drops. And one does get a little bit pissed about it all.

But it's not just the doctors that take interest at quality of life statements, most people haven't heard of it and I've had them not be able to put mine down.

So next time you're up walking around the house for hours, write it in your head. And when you finally stop shaking sit down and type it, you'll be amazed at what you come out with.
