Has anyone been diagnosed with this? I haven’t found a group that discusses this specifically and haven’t gotten help for it yet but I know I move during my dreams. It usually wakes me up when it happens. Last night I hit my fist against the mattress while dreaming and it woke me up. My husband saw it happen.

Yes, they are very different.
REM Sleep Behavior Disorder is when you act out your dreams.
PLMD/PLMS are unconscious leg movements at night.
