Last night I forgot to take my tablets. I am on 4 cocodamol, 4 Gabapentin, 1 molipaxin in the evening. The night began to get rough around 11pm. I couldn't work out what was going on. Yes, I am that stupid. By morning, if you were meeting me for the first time, you would swear I was in the throes of Parkinsons! The quivering was uncontrollable to the point I could barely walk and I was sweating and felt truly awful. I eventually realised what was going on and took a half dose of co-codomol and Gabapentin. This has worked to a large degree.
The real shock was that I had not realised to what extent the RLS had progressed. The tablets had obviously held things under control and I have been on them for some time but they have also masked the progress of the disease. Ihad no idea it had gottenthis bad.

Don’t panic. If you stop taking codeine or gabapentin suddenly, you will experience withdrawal symptoms. If you look up Gabapentin withdrawal symptoms they are exactly what you describe.
I don’t think your RLS has progressed to that extent.
Exactly- it was a severe case of withdrawals you were experiencing. Keep going for about a year without the meds, and you should discover your base line. For my own part, I'd be inclined to stay with the meds.😂
