It worked!

Three weeks ago I started a diet that excluded dairy, caffeine, wheat, etc. I also added B Super Complex, turmeric, magnesium and calcium. I reduced my dose of Pramipexole to 2 with the help of hydrocodone 2 doses a day. I was panicked at the thought of traveling and I had a trip to Paris coming up. It was about a 11 hour non-stop plane trip. GREAT NEWS --- I DIDN'T HAVE RLS for the first time in years. I am so grateful. Now that I'm back home I will focus on completely freeing myself of Pramipexole One step at a time. At least I feel I'm on the right path and I had a wonderful trip

I should add that with the minerals I take the recommended dose but I take 1/2 in morning and 1/2 in evening I only take the B in morning. I read somewhere that this gives your body the full advantage of minerals. By the way it's 2:30 am I have jet lag - so I'm up but no RLS. YEAH

That's fantastic news. I love these types of posts. Diet works for some, some of the time so it's worth trying.

The website rlcure.com advocates what you have done successfully. It is good to know other sufferers who have been helped.

Finding your food triggers can be good where RLS is concerned so glad you seem to have found yours. But not everyone has food triggers, me being one of them. Only trigger for me is alcohol which i avoid completely.

Congratulations. So happy for you. Can you please tell us what was excluded in addition to dairy, caffeine, wheat? Thank you!

So pleased for you! Diet is a definite trigger for me ... Sugar is the worst, as well as processed carbs. I try not to have those after lunch time. If I eat sugar-free and low-carb, as far as possible, I have no RLS. Last night I had a sweet biscuit after dinner and my legs played up. It's just not worth it!

Hi I was very pleased to see that you were having such success. Is it continuing? Can we call you brainy legs?

I hope you are sleeping 8 hours per day like you deserve.

Cheers

Graham
