I don't have many words to give to you. I feel for you, but I can only begin to imagine what it must be like for you. Know that many are here, reading your words and feeling as inadequate as I do about responding. Hope that you have others with you physically, simply to be there and try and share the burden of your pain.

Thank you for your kind words I do have others but there is no compassion for pain unfortunately x

So sorry for your burden.

What medications are you on and has anything changed to make things worse?

It's really tough coping with such feelings on your own.

Hoping things can work out for you-- you are not alone.

Neurologist says it maybe migraine related as no change in anything else x

We all understand how you feel. RSL is tough, and misunderstood, and you sound like you have it worse than many (myself included).

Would you go back to your doctor, maybe talk about changing your drugs if they are not working?

Also, I asked my doctor to refer me to a health psychologist. It really helped with the feelings of hopelessness that I often felt. If nothing else, it was good to have someone who would just really listen.

I've found that people sledom understand our pain (fuck off with your "I get leg cramps"), so I frame it as lack of sleep, which many do understand. Hope you start to feel more positive soon.

Aug2To all who feel they are at the end of their tether -think of those who are impacted and devastated by your actions which will affect them for the rest of their lives.I can only say keep trying every avenue to try and alleviate this terrible condition.Unless you have experienced it no one has any conception what it is like.It sounds fairly innocuous, the reality is something else.It is a comfort to know there are others dealing with this and the actuality is it encompasses millions I suspect and all across the globe.I wonder is there any where that someone doesn' t have this and if so what percentage? The people who suffer from this have in my opinion great courage and fortitude and they each and every one have my respect. It isn't,t easy to keep struggling Year in and year out but somehow people battle on.I have been very long winded I am afraid.

usually B-50 every morning relieves the burning/stinging pins and needles feeling. This is usually a neuropathy. I manage the neuropathy which is common with Celiac Disease with B50 vitamin. RLS can be a side effect of CD.

I'm getting 90% relief using powdered kratom leaf. It's available on the internet at eleven cents per gram when bought in bulk ($110 per kilogram). My favorite strain is "Red Borneo", although I rotate through 7 different strains, hoping that that will help to avoid tolerance building up. I'm using 8 grams per dose, three times per day. I mix each dose in a blender with 8 ounces of milk and a packet of Carnation "Breakfast Essentials" (aka "Instant Breakfast") which is also a powder. This concoction is needed (for me) to make palatable the kratom which is about as dry as chalk powder. Also I mix into each dose, one capsule (25mg) of iron bisglycinate ("comfort iron"), although many of the good people here recommend that the iron capsule be taken on an empty stomach and certainly not with milk!

If not for the kratom, I would move to Oregon where assisted suicide is legal! (Partially kidding--not sure how much!)

Return to this site often; the loving souls who write here are a great source of strength, courage, and solace.
