Neurologists tomorrow

Have never been so don't know what first meeting will be like hopefully he understands more than my doctor at least he got this appointment within months an hours drive in the morning should be fun ✌️

Haven't slept all night this thing is killing me what should I expect from neurologists as I am taking pregablin diazepam anddhc.

I hope you do not mind but I combined your two postings so that it makes it easier for people to reply.

If this neurologist has a interest in RLS you will, more than likely have a good appointment. If he/she does not know much/anything about RLS you may, unfortunately, know more than they do. We build our hopes up with these appointments, don't we?

It was quite a good appointment even though he couldn't pronounce my second name quiet funny actually he is going to increase my pregablin and send me for a test to do with wiring me up to something for my nerves can't rember the name wish I could if anyone knows can they plz feel free to say it's to do with electrodes and my nerves the language barrier was not good so couldn't ask questions I wanted as I have loads but at least I actually managed to make appointment and it's a start where and when it will finish I just don't know

Was it a nerve conduction study (NCS), also called a nerve conduction velocity (NCV) test, that was mentioned?

I saw a neurologist a while ago, although he could not give me any answers as to what is causing RLS he did recommend new tablets and they have been a life saver. After years of different tablets these actually work for me. PRAMIPEXOLE prolonged release 0.26mg. Saw a vascular surgeon could not find anything but put me forward for MRI.

My last resort is an MRI scan on veins in my legs. I have an appointment in two weeks Wait and see any results from that. Will let you know.
