When changing meds,in my case to Neurontin, how long before the drug reaches full efficacy?

It can take a few weeks, maybe a month before you would feel the full effect from taking it.

It worked for me immediately. Still taking it 6 months later.

Grammie thats unusual for it to work immediately, its a med that needs to build up in your system.

Yes. As I took it for epilepsy I was fairly certain of that. Working on my patience!

I had just weaned off mirapex and went straight to Gabapentin. Only minor twinges infrequently after that.

Placebo effect? ;))) I got told that it takes 3 weeks to be effective. :)

Yes. I suspect that's why I have a follow up appointment in 4 weeks.
