Augmentation

Sorry if I am being a bit thick on this but could someone please explain exactly what augmentation is? I tried googling it but this came up with breast augmentation! Whilst I don't think my wife would understand if I had a boob job I think it may give me a couple of things to hang onto while My legs are twitching away! Thanks in advance

SO that's the excuse you are going to try and sell for looking at breasts online!!

On a serious note augmentation is when the drug you are using to treat the RLS causes an increase in symptoms. It can really ramp the RLS up.

The big offenders are the Dopamine Agonists and in particular Mirapexin. Stay on the lowest dose possible to prevent it/minimise the risk of it and don't think for one moment that the Dr knows about it or the correct dose of the drugs to give you! Always double check yourself.

Hi when i have had a bit more of my medication to try n stop a bad night of rls then thats augmentation as it makes me totally worse for hours on end .more can be worse for some.

simply it's like a big ugly rebound...it stops working, (the Rx) and you get slammed
