Fingerpicking a symptom of RLS?

Does anyone heard of excessive picking of skin around fingers as a symptom of RLS. I read it only once several years ago but have never heard of this again. I have severe, full body RLS for many years now (I am 67) and have been picking at my fingers since I was young. It is almost impossible to stop, like a very bad habit and am wondering if it is just a habit or part of the RLS syndrome.

Bad habit- bad boy/ girl.😠

Sign of stress- which is factor in rls.

But not the other way round - imho.

That's odd cause I pick my fingers too... wonder if it is related
