Totally agree with Pippins. I do know the woman who sells them does a lot of returns and they can only work with the placebo effect. Save your money.

I have had RLS for years on rapinirole tablet then I tried the bracket what you mentioned but no good they say if you have had RLSfor a long time I have been climbing the walls can't sleep but now I am on 2 tablets pramipexole take them about two hours before you go to bed and 1 tablet a iron one and what a relief I can't believe it so I hope this is helpful for you and all the best undertaker

Save your money they didn't work for me either! We end up trying everything out there in the hope it helps don't we? Soap between the sheets, etc etc I'm on ropinerole tabs but am waking up at about 3am with it starting up again.....I guess I may need a change of meds.

They are absolute rubbish, don't bother. I sent mine back for a refund.

Yeah I bought them and I found they worked for a few nights then back to RLS, so I don't know what that meant don't work now

yes got two halcyon bracelets and agree save your money spent £100s or more over the years in search of help [ won,t say cure ] nothing worked but when desperate will try anything waiting for these feet wraps the United States claim to help to come to the UK unless someone has an outlet available to purchase at reasonable price

Do you realy think the foot wrap will work,why don't you try the Neupro patch and Tramodol just had 15 nights sleep x

Thanks for reply the Neupro patch did,nt work for me and im taking Tramodol because i have severe back pain.The thing is getting little to no sleep and being a full time postman i get so desperate will try anything for sleep and relief from this blasted curse placed upon us.Twice now have fallen asleep at wheel of van and have got away with it fear a third time even thought of changing job and on real bad nights have questioned myself why do i keep going but we have to fight on in hope some genius finds something that will help us all.Someone mentioned about an heat remedy any info on that thanks again

I do feel so sorry for you but that doesn't help,please go back to the docs because there is something else you can try,perhaps you needed to up the patch I am on 2mg, good luck x

if my memory serves me correct think i went to 3mg patch just think im one of these that meds only work for short while but pray that one day the curse will be lifted. Live in somerset and doctors have limited advise about RLS why are doctors etc in uk so far behind in research in RLS any answers please.Feel this is a disability and like many others out there it is a struggle holding down a full time job with a severe lack of sleep not only on ones mental health but safety to your fellow workers and the general public.

Nick are you on any meds if so what,I live Worcs and the docs are the same as yours so are the nurolagists ,read all you can and go back you might have some results from the doc, I don't think any country is clued up about rls ,good luck x

yes i am pramipexole getting around 3 hours sleep/rest per night which is good for me cant sit to watch TV in evenings though have to stand,think its one of them times when ones at there lowest not usually a moaner but lack of sleep as you know is horrible thanks for replies and chat

Nick, how long have you been taking the Pramipexole and what is your dose. ?

o.52mg slow release and tried all different meds doctors just clutching at straws because they know so little about the curse but with this one its better than nothing thats the best i can say really

Nick, it sound to me like you are going through some augmentation. The dose you are taking is higher than what the RLS experts now recommend and your doctor most likely doesnt know about the new lower dose thats now recommended. A few people on here are also experiencing augmentation and are now weaning off their dopamine med with the help of a strong pain med as you cant just stop your med because you will have withdrawals. and the pain med will help.

wow did not know about dosage will have to make a visit to Doctors asap, myself think its time all doctors learn more about RLS before something serious happens with giving incorrect dose out.along with MEDS for RLS take either codiene phosphate or tramadol for back pain.

Those other meds are ok and the tramadol should help when you start weaning down off the pramipexole. The doses are not so much incorrect, but just now recommend to be lower. I am going to find the info about augmentation for you and post it right under our comments.

Hi Nick, havent seen you on here for a while. I wouldnt worry about waiting for the foot wrap to come to the UK, from what we can see they are probably as good as the copper bracelets which is nil for working.

hi i struggle to sit long enough to read my e-mails at times and worked out what time of day is best for me without getting up tight and jerking so might be here more often now i always feel better after being on here chatting to good people with sound advise

About a week ago I had several very bad evenings. I had a lot of pain and could not sit still. The pain and agitation were largely stopped by walking around but there is only so much of that I could cope with. The next evening I put on my bracelets (see above) and, surprise surprise, the next seven evenings I was relatively calm and, again relatively, pain free. Why I have no idea but long may it continue.
