I would like to see someone privately to get advise on the medication I am on. GPs have not idea. Recently I started having injections of steroids when the pain gets unbearable and twice it has helped.

Strange a few minutes ago I put a search on Google "consultants specialising in RLS in NE, UK. Came up with some contacts. You could try the same thing. Hope this helps.
Totally agree with you about GPs they haven't a clue. Take more control yourself.
