limb is still there. I believe that this sensation is essential if the amputee is to be able to use a prosthetic. Anyway my question is "Do amputees who previously had RLS still have RLS in the missing limb?

In a word or a few words, yes they would still have the sensation of RLS, phantom sensations as if the limb is still there. We often talk about wanting to cut our legs off, if we cut them both off, we would have trouble walking those sensations away.

Oh my goodness Pete can you imagine the sheer torture of that!

Born in and lived in Rotherham from 1958 up to about 1979 so it is quite a long time since permanent residence. Used to live about half a mile back towards the town centre, along the main road (Moorgate Road) where the hospital is. What took you to Rotherham I wonder?

Beighton, hmm. not an area I know. Although I was 21 when I left Rotherham I didn't get to know the area very well at all at all really.
