How often will I need iloprost infusions

I have received a letter to go for my first iloprost infusion. Once I have had this one how often can I expect to have them? I have read the posts on iloprost but I can't find how often it is generally given and I didn't ask at my appointment

Iloprost dilates your blood vessels as far as possible to allow blood to reach difficult parts ..and have its noiurishing effect. The effect lasts a while. It needs to be repeated whenever necessary. I have it regularly every two months in the winter and three months in the summer. This way it helps to prevent ulcers in Raynaud's and helps to heal other parts affected in Scleroderma.

I have it twice in the winter. I don't need it when the weather is warmer, though I have had a couple of bad attacks on the odd cold. day. I think it is different for everyone, depending on your severity.

Every one is different and it all depends on the severity of your Raynaud's and how much benefit you gain from the infusion. Hope all goes well for you!
