Musinex

Help has anyone taken Musinex DM with methotrexate? I am on 6ml of MTX a week.

I have not, but my best friend is on MTX. She is currently sicker than a I can remember her being. She is able to take the basic mucinex. That's what her rheumatologist told her.

I have taken both at once several times. I have had no problems with the combination.

I am told to stop all my RA Meds when I am sick. RA Meds lower your immune response & don't let your body's own defense system control viral infections. So I wouldn't know.

I have taken musings dm while taking methotrexate, not at the same time though. Had no negative effects.
