You should never apologize for you working in a hospital cafeteria this isn't a competition we all

Are here under one common goal to support eachother in our trials & tribulations with this relentlessly cruel disease known as RA. You should be proud of yourself that you have the wherewithal all to work at all, especially with RA nonetheless. Please never short change yourself like that again , you are a human & just as valuable as anyone else. Please don't buy into the world's (media's lies) please don't do that to yourself.

Bless you sweet one Xx

I would try your nearest teaching hospital-a state run one., or a University Hospital. The staff there should be able to assist you. Also, the drug companies for your meds also have monies set aside for patients who have trouble paying. Also try your state Arthritis Association Chapter.

Good Luck,

Alice

Where do you live Stlk? UK, US? The NRAS has some information here that can help you if you are in the UK. If you are in the US, there is help too...

If you live in US there is Medicaid you might apply until you get on your feet major Rheumatology clinics in cities take that (or) county hospitals treat on income driven need. That's absurd if you've already been dx as having RA & you aren't able to get tx because of insurance. There are a lot of hospitals , Dr.'s that may refer you to the actual RA companies who help or give their meds to people that are dx with RA who could otherwise not afford it. I've lived with this disease for over 19 years & can tell you first hand as sure as we all can, it's a progressive disease & requires constant monitoring & tx, especially when it's in its active phase. It will only get worse & cause secondary issues if not attended to. Wish you all the best......

Even many pharmaceutical companies offer their products at reduced or no cost if you can show your income and qualify. Please don't just hurt, and deform.
