Got lotsa work to do today before builders arrive tomorrow. That should keep my mind off the smokes ... yeah!

What a beautiful morning, we did have frost though! :-8 Dragged myself out of bed and did a little run. Now just had brekkie whilst watching the London Marathon. No, I don't have any plans to be doing that - ever! But it is a great spectacle. Need to do a bit in the garden today and plan a walk this afternoon with my friends and dog. Hope the forecast rain doesn't come in til this evening.

Been up early. Walked the dog and went to a small local carboot. Off now to meet friends for brunch and then gardening before the rain comes at 4pm ish.

Cheers Jillygirl; No time to "potter" in my garden, it needs the blitzkrieg, wanted to get as much done as possible before my blue tits start getting in my nest boxes. Looked out the window today and their allready in them, I guess mother nature is in a hurry this late spring. Will have to leave the bottom of my garden alone so as not to disturb them.

Yep I had a lovely lie in this morning, just about got my batteries charged up now I'm off out pottering in the greenhouse now, got a really exciting job to do, wash the pea-gravel ready for putting my tomato plants in 
hmmmmm maybe a cannie will help me

Started my garden at 7 30am.
Couldn't ease my cravings, so went for a six mile walk.
Still like a cat on a hot tin roof so went the garden centre.
Bought a cherry tree and a plum tree.
I put them into the grown in the pouring rain.
I think I am going around the bend but it's nine weeks smoke free.
Keeping up the fight kevin.
Kevin , your definitely a quit support member, If your going round the bend. We are all the same here. Its 1 year since I stopped and today I tried to put the iron in the fridge. So there is hope for you yet. joking aside 9 weeks is brilliant stick at it.
Have you got one of those ginormous american fridges then? Mine lives in a cupboard (and doesn't come out very often ).

Kevin, you were very unlucky having rain today for your gardening, it will get easier as time goes on - great walk too - you must be a very fit person and even more so now you've packed in the fags.

Yes ta, we did a 3 miler by the river. I didn't do any gardening today though - maybe tomorrow - grass needs cutting! Just seen the forecast and looks like it's going to stay dry next week and might even get a heatwave mid-week.

I walk play golf cycle and do light weight lifting.
Still put on half a stone in nine weeks.
Just had cheery pie( home made)and ice cream.
Sucking a chocolate lime as I am writing this.
Oooooooo! Is the lightweight lifting to do with the garden - I find lifting things like paving slabs more like heavy weightlifting. hehe Just keep on eating, you can loose it at a later date. I couldn't resist a Magnum mini after my dinner this evening though.
