Out with the ecig

I am now 48 days not smoking and 5 days without any ecig or NRT.

Seem to have continual head cold and heartburn but will not give in to the beastie.

Has anyone else had this kind of withdrawal symptom and if so, how did you calm the cold??.

That's good, mind you I went 3 weeks with no NRT but then rubbish happened so I had a lozenge and have now had quite a few. Still better than smoking I suppose. You're doing brilliantly, well done you. Not really sure about the heartburn. Heartburn is a funny thing, it can just appear for no apparent reason in bouts then disappear for no reason. Maybe you're eating too much of something in place of the ecig and NRT that doesn't agree with you? The headcold, again maybe the ecig has caused that. I always find milk to be an almost instant relief for heartburn.

Thanks sinfree.

I have no choice but to get off cigis, I spent a few weeks in hospital after a severe attack of asthma and I also have bronchiectsis.

Heartburn may well be my heistas hernia.

I agree about milk, I like it with horlics just before bed Works wonders.

To our health.

A hiatus hernia probably is the cause of your heartburn then.

Thanks the nun, well done to you too.

You are right of course "no pain no gain" and there is a big prize for us all to stay smoke free.

Can't help you with the withdrawal symptoms but can send you admiration for sticking at it.

Well done.
