Off to get stitches out this morning. Then going to get my hair cut short , hopefully to make it easier to cope with after Monday. Ah well suppose my hair is the least of my worries.

Morning everyone, its freezing here in Liverpool and the pavements are slippy and icy after last nights frost. Jillygirl, I hope all goes well for you on Monday, having your hair shorter will make things a lot easier for you, there,s nothink worse than wanting to wash your hair when you havent got the energy to do it and stitches that you cant get wet. As you say though, does it matter what your hair,s like, there,s more important things to worry about, its just a way of making us feel better to get in a nice warm bath or shower. Take care all and dont slip if your out and about, have a lovely day.

Morning Jilly and Mad, yes it was only minus 2 on the car thermometer this morning. When I went out to start scraping the car the eastern sky started glowing with the most amazing pink/orange colours.

Jilly, yes I had my pt session today and he thought I'd worked the best I'd done for ages. He also said that the scales say that there's more muscle and less fat so hopefully I'm heading in the right direction finally.

Hope you 'enjoy' all that snipping today and hope you can enjoy a nice bath this evening.

Emjay, was sorry to hear about your neck - have you found out what's wrong with it yet and are you doing your stretches after running? I'm hoping to start again before I go away. I think I will do 1xw1 run, 1xw2 run then try to have w3 under my belt before I go away. Am planning to run on nice smooth tarmac paths in a local park so hopefully no tree roots in sight.

Well girls stitches out. feels a bit easier now. Can`t wear my bra though as it is just where the edge of a bra is. Stupid isnt it but always feel cold without it. Have to get myself a rab nesbitt vest.

Yellow and red eh? Is that really trendy cos if it is I've got yellow walls, red tiles and try to get red or yellow accessories. Don't try too hard though as I prefer to keep them in the cupboards as it makes it easier to clean.

all the frost seems to have disappeared here now but there was quite a bit about when I was on the niece and nephew school run first thing! Brrrrr....!

John, good to hear that you are now back on track. Remember to have as much faith and confidence in yourself as well as in whatever products you choose to use. Both nicotine an non nicotine based products really do help, however it is you that helps to give them the power. Sounds like your kitchen project will definitely keep you occupied

Hey Jillygirl, love all the pictures, one in particular really did make me laugh Glad to hear that you are feeling a little more comfortable now. As you won't be doing much skipping now, I shouldn't worry too much about not being 'supported'! Besides, you'll get all the support you'll need from here 8 months quit yesterday, as Pete said, I can't believe that we've now known each other for so long!

Andi, it's just a pulled muscle in my neck. Yep, I'm stretching before and after I just felt a slight twinge whilst doing nothing (was standing chatting in my living room). It's still a tad sore but is definitely getting better. It'll probably be next week though before I can run again. I'm sure you'll soon catch up with me, I only got to complete week 2 But at least I did make that start. You just take it easy, we can be all fit and ready for the New Year then, we may even have Kazz joining us (at least I think it was Kaz who said she may start exercising in the New Year....?)

Kaz, 9 weeks yesterday eh, that is fantastic. I bet you are well chuffed with your chocolatey self

Emjay did you finish the book on Reincarnation yet? I couldnt put it down, it was amazing. I,m on a mission to find more FREE ones as I,ve spent thousands over the years on book so its about time I got them for nowt.

Yeah, I think the worst today as when he got me to keep running up and down the stairs. Where I meet the pt is in a dungeon and the stairs are really steep. There's only 11 in the flight but they're a killer.
