My tenth month quit

I have hit my 10 month mark, which is pretty amazing to me. I need to up my exercise game and eating better. I don't do bad, but I need to do more. I get settled and lazy. We have long winters in Pennsylvania and it is very easy to get lazy. With my quit, I do feel very good. I still have allergies, but that is my situation. I enjoy the freedom of not smoking. I have a random smoking dream or thought once in awhile, but over the craves. Not to say that I could ever just smoke one cigarette. I think that is the key here. We can't smoke one ever! Just NOPE. Now onward to the 11 month mark. Thanks for reading my thoughts!!

Great job Spicecat. Its a great feeling seeing the months rack up and you’re off the dreaded fags. Congratulations on heading to 1 year as a non smoker.

Hi we are all great. So thankful not smoking . Your site helped me more then you’ll ever know . Still have dreams regularly. Not to bed cravings, it doesn’t bother me when I see or smell the smoke. 🎃 😊

A year year quit is fantastic!! Also a lot of work..that is great.

You are so right, just the "one" won't hurt is from the devil on the shoulder who visits every reformed alcoholic and drug addict and a whole lot more people, but you kicked it into touch and completed 10 months. It's not easy is it? But so so worthwhile and worth a fortune is you can keep the money you spent. Good for you and for the sake of your health I wish you the best of luck and make the anniversary a memorable one. Well done - you should have a medal a sign - "I did it" it makes one feel so proud - "A non smoker now" Sounds good, Good for you

Thank you ticking-ticker!! You are right, non smoker sounds good. When I am with my friends that smoke, I don't feel punished. I wish they would quit too, but I don't preach. Just the freedom of not having to deal with smoking is true freedom, and no more mean looks as you stand outside trying to smoke. Yes I will take the freedom.

How wonderful to be 10 months smoke free. I hope to make that same statement when I get there. I am only on my 17th day but am determined to beat this. Nice that you live in Pennsylvania, we have just returned (that is where I fell ill) and got this wake up call!! I do love Pennsylvania, lucky you to be living there. :)

Many congrats Spicecat. I've been experiencing allergies, new thing since the summer. Itchy skin, sneezing...totally unrelated to smoking? Is it?? Quitting? I think so...All the same dis-quieting, I've been taking antihistamine when severe, that eases it but not ideal. Not totally on smoking I know but seeing it mentioned in your post, thought I'd take the opportunity. All power to you for 11th month!!! Great Stuff :O)
