Went for my check up today Dentist said by gums are looking brilliant so much so I can stop using the corsodyl , result. And true to his word my next airflow polish is all booked in as a freebie. Still hate going to the dentist mind ....xx

I joined dentist last week booked an appointment but chickened out and cancelled it! Think my gums are okay - a bit bleedy though x

Honestly I am the biggest wimp ever with going to the dentist , have to force myself to go for check ups . Think the trick is to get one that understands and stick with them. I have been seeing this one for about 20 years so knows how to manage my dental anxiety lol xx

This is the one trip that I am looking forward to since stopping (in a sick kind of way). I have really bad gums and I have to get a scale and polish every three months, which is so painful. I stopped smoking 2 days after my last appointment so I'm hoping that my dentist can tell the difference in that space of time as he was always on my back for smoking and was so encouraging to me when I told him I was starting on the patches. I do fear that my next scale will be the sorest one yet though.

Strangely whilst my gums still felt tender and like you was concerned about them prodding around etc I had no problem at all . Just think when you get them scaled and cleaned they will stay that way as you won't be staining them with nicotine. I'm loving mine lol xx
