Hi Bonny!! welcome to our quit support group!! Have a look at the pinned posts about common symptoms, myself I have not had headaches, but sleepless night came long before I quit smoking, so I'm very sorry I cannot help there, hopefully other members will be able to help you, but if not, you may wish to see your GP and see if there is something they can offer to help you.

great job with your quit so far and best of luck for continued success!!

I can tell you what I did to relieve my symptoms of headache and muscle tension...I bought an oil diffuser for my headaches I put peppermint on in it and for my sleepless nights I use lavender oil. I also got acupuncture that helped so much. You can even rub peppermint oil on your temples and that does wonders. I don't like to take medicine so I try to do it as natural as possible. Also, I take melatonin that helps me sleep. Congrats on your quit journey.

Sounds like tension headaches. Try the oil diffuser as Kimberley recommended, otherwise have a word with your G.P. If it is a withdrawal symptom it should soon pass. xx :)

Hi Bonny , a big welcome and Congrats on your quit, your doing great. I had headaches for at least 6 weeks, but gone now, perhaps it's tension, if your really worried check with GP. The sleeping I'm not , just like you, but never really slept. I will try what Kimberly suggests, anything with a try . Keep strong you really are doing great on your quit xx

Welcome to our quit family bonny😊

Congratulations on 8 months quit, fantastic so well done🚭👍🏼

Perhaps some simple neck excercises will help to ease things out a bit as we hold a lot of tension in our necks☹️ There are special pillows developed with a slightly different shape which may help as they support your neck in the correct position. I also like lavender on my pillow, nice and relaxing. Drink lots of water to keep you hydrated. There are some good breathing techniques under pinned posts to help ya relax.

As the other lovely members have said, consult your G.P. if it doesn't get any better.

Really hope ya feel better soon💐

We say NOPE not one puff ever🚭 Good luck😊

Hi Bonny 👋🏽welcome to the quit family, well done on your progress so far. Yes must admit I had and still do get headaches and neck pain but due to stress and tension so I have been told , try the health shops for remedies they are very good with their advice, but like everyone else has been saying if it does not get any better consult your doctor. Welcome once again X Sandie

Thanks to you all I will take your advice and look around to see what will help.

I've done my best to do this alone but must say it really makes a difference being able to ask for help and getting answers. X
