Just wanted to post a hello out there🌏 to all you lovely non-smokers. I'm doing good in my 7 th week

I still have to watch myself around alcohol. It's such a trigger. Sometimes it's easier to just not have a drink period and I still keep my reasons why I need to quit cigarettes nearby

I'm so glad you know that alcohol is a trigger I think it is for most of us at the start but it will get less and less of a trigger as you go on

I went to a gf's house last night had a couple of glasses of wine, her daughter stepped outside to have a cig and asked me - you still smoke when you drink auntie? I said no sweetheart I don't.

I loved saying that!

She is young and will most likely stop when she's ready. I don't want to be a preacher on it...when I was her age, I was not hearing anything from the old ppl. Her mom quit cold turkey on her own, and her bf does not care for her smoking, so maybe just maybe she will not want to be the one standing outside alone missing the good times inside the house.

One can hope!
