9 days since quit and gums and teeth hurt is this normal?

On day 9 now and my teeth feel like they are going to fall out my mouth and my gums are aching and bleeding any suggestions as to why?

Hi, Well done on reaching 9 days.... I think its to do with all the bad things in the cigs... when I gave up before, my teeth and gums became tender and really sensitive, they also bled... My dentist said it was to do with my teeth improving and said that they were just settling down again. It passed with me and my gums really improved, unfortunately I started smoking again. This time my teeth are very sensitive but hopefully will have settled down before my next appointment in July...

Hi Levis, sorry to hear you having mouth problems but a big well done on your 9 day quit My teeth were sooooh sensitive it was awful and I had sore mouth and that was just very painful but it did pass so hang on in there, better days ahead and it's all worthwhile x
