Should I tell my mental health nurse about my son?
My son is on a very strict prison licence. Probation the police got to come here once a week and he has to see a drug Councillor. I've spoilt him but the big mistake was buying him an XL bully. I thought he look after it properly because he's always wanted them. Thing is they are now banned and strict

Back pain and spasms
I was diagnosed with PMR in 2020. I have been on prednisolone since then trying to type it off but only actually managed to get off of the drug for about three weeks before having to restart. I’ve only really had pain in my lower body and legs, only occasionally in my arms. Recently I have had acute

Laparoscopy healing
Hi everyone, A question for the laparoscopy ladies; How long did it take you to heal? It's been 3 months since my surgery, and I fear my pain is worse than before. I've been prescribed diazepam for pain which I'm taking twice daily alongside, paracetamol and menfamic acid. Is this residual pain from

🤖⚠️Insomnia... again.
An old sheet of foam rubber rests on unforgiving concrete, its thinness a cruel reminder of my meager existence. A solitary sheet, worn and faded, covers my body in a desperate pursuit for warmth. I lie there, fully clothed, my mind racing with thoughts that refuse to rest. Diazepam, my reluctant companion

Struggling with Walking
Hi. My Mum was diagnosed with vascular Corticobasal Syndrome a couple of years ago after becoming a little confused and a number of falls. She had a rapid decline to the point of not being able to communicate, walk or transfer without support and is also now on a level 5 minced diet due to swallow issues

Heartened to know I am not alone in the struggles caused by pramipexole
I have had RLS and PLMD as long as I can remember. I’m sure all of those nights I struggled with symptoms as a child that were brushed off as growing pains…RLS. My mom suffers mildly. Unfortunately, both of my daughters also have many challenges that began as teens. What I’ve been through is so complex

Crescent is useless
Hi, I agree that in comparison to all the other brands of 10mg Diazepam which I have had much relief from, when my pharmacy gets the cheapest Crescent brand in, I refuse to take it. It simply doesn’t work. It’s never sent me asleep like the others and I saw this brand is dirt cheap on the internet. Steer

advice please
hi. I have started with stomach acid issues and achey muscles, tingly hands and increased anxiety (which was already severe). The last time this happened I needed to increase my thyroxine so that’s what I have done. The gp won’t test my thyroid as it was done in November and it was fine even though I

Having a hard time getting my usual brands
I order my meds online via my doc who promptly sends the script over to my pharmacy and I have home delivery due to my agoraphobia. My pharmacist knows my sensitivities to certain brands and tries to keep me on the ones I have but every now and then I get something I have never had before or I had a

Diazepam Withdrawal
I'm really struggling and feeling awful as my psychiatrist tries to reduce my diazepam to 5mg per day. Currently on 10mg. Is anyone else going through the same thing with their GP? 😢😢😢

Anxiety - yes that old hat!
Ok, hi all and I know many have brought up this subject and I know many suffer. But I'd like to hear from you on how to cope and what works for you. Also to hear from those who have had T for a few years and how they coped in the early stages - I'm 3.5 months in and not really coping. I have been on

hi , I was given lorazepam 1 mg 3x a day for an episode of severe anxiety , do I stay on this now ? I was on diazepam and lithium for 5 years but hit a brick wall and stopped taking both , still on quietiapine but now lorazepam and it does really work like magic but once it’s worn off I’m there again

The problem with Buprenorphine, BTBD9 and serotonin syndrome
This is for those of you who are really struggling with the remedies for RLS. Apologies for not referencing all my research but I’ve been completely wiped out for weeks now. However I wanted to share some insights I’ve had recently and hope it inspires thoughts and research. Adenosine is a chemical

I really don't know where to start
My PMR is back and as bad as can be. I started out at 15mg and am taking methotrexate too. I've tapered to 14mg and I'm now unwilling to budge from this because I've been hit with a list of things that are making it hard. My husband has been diagnosed with stage 3b lung cancer and is not doing well at
