lithium and bipolar 2
I have had psychiatric treatment with medication and
psychotherapy
that has kept me well enough. During my treatment about 7 years ago I was put on Lithium, a powerful mood stabiliser and antipsychotic.

I prefer to find a psychiatrist who does in person
psychotherapy
. I did see a psychiatrist, but they just wanted to prescribe meds. Has anyone else had a bad reaction to methylprednisolone?

Has anyone here gotten weight restored on their own without going to a nutritionist or eating disorder center?
They have never helped me as far as yes they help me gain the weight but then I don't end up getting my mind changed any even with all the
psychotherapy
so it ends up doing me no good.

Need online partner(s) who is trying to develop habits for limiting the negative effects of ADHD
Due to several reasons, it is very hard for me to go to a psychologist and get medical treatment or even
psychotherapy
sessions. I made a list of habits that can help me to control the negative effects of ADHD.

NEUROFEEDBACK DEVICE HELPS PTSD SUFFERERS REGAIN CONTROL OVER EMOTIONS
Meant as an adjunct to
psychotherapy
or pharmacotherapy, Prism uses an EEG cap that is paired with interactive audiovisuals to train patients in how to lower the biomarker associated with PTSD, thus regaining control over their brain’s emotional regulation system.

Softie because of the executive disfunction?
Despite working a lot about respect for my boundaries and owning my aggression instead of hiding it from myself during years of
psychotherapy
, I still have hard times when I have to confront people and say no to them. I cannot stand conflicts.

anyone else have feeling that they are drunk or out of their body?
hey, I’m looking for some help with something I experienced recently. I have had my ocd under control for a while now, and have been taking my medication (fluoxetine) regularly. Recently, I went away on a trip with friends and had not taken my medication regularly. And one night I got extremely intoxicated

Appointment
I have a virtual appointment with my therapist tomorrow. I'm a little nervous that when I am honest about everything that has been going on, he will suggest that I go to the ER or be admitted to the hospital. That has happened once before and honestly, I'm probably feeling the same or worse as I was

Not just ocd
I made a post a little bit ago about having other symptoms I think may be ocd, and now I've looked into it more I'm still not sure- I was wondering if anyone had any tips to bring it up with a therapist or if they themselves could have a look at the symptoms with me and help think of anything that might

help doesn't feel available
I've been depressed since I was 9 years old and my entire life I've been trying to seek help. My parents dismissed me and very few teachers took me seriously. I had a few counselors in my youth but nothing stuck and my mental illness got more severe. At 13, I was unable to leave the house and care for

I don't know where to turn...
I have suffered with health anxiety and GAD for many many years . I am on medication, I see a therapist, I try all types of suggested therapies but one issue will not ease off or go away. I wonder if anyone else can relate. As soon as I wake in the morning, I have a feeling of pressure and FEAR just

Psychiatrist #2 (update)
I think it went okay this time. Ignoring the anxiety and paranoia that is telling me it didn't, I talked a lot more (and maybe a little too much but I am sure they are used to that from other patients). I am now going on Zoloft, as Wellbutrin was doing super terribly for me. I now am also trying a medicine
