Forthcoming Support Groups - Warrington, Northamptonshire, South West Essex, and Cambridgeshire.

The following new and recently established PSPA Support Groups take place during November and December:

Warrington: Thursday 10th November, 3pm, Fairfield and Howley Neighbourhood Project, Fairfield Street Warrington WA1 3AJ

Northamptonshire: Saturday 19th November, 10.30, Grangefield Residential Care Home, 60 Northampton Road, Earls Barton, NN6 0HE

Brentwood and South West Essex: Saturday 26th November, 2.30, The Marillac, Brentwood

Cambridgeshire: Saturday 3rd December, 2.30, Trumpington Village Hall, Cambridge.

Support Groups are open to everyone, whether you are currently living with PSP/CDB, are a Carer, family member or friend. We also welcome past carers, health and social care professionals and people who would like to support the work of PSPA at local level.

Attendance is not limited by geographical boundaries or locations.

i attended the Northamptonshire Support Group meeting on Saturday 19th November along with my husband, Trevor, who is my full time carer, . I found it uplifitng to see so many people there who were bravely coping with this horrible disease - be they carers or sufferers there were a lot of positive vibes going round the room that mornng! We had a very nice cup of coffee and biscuits and my initial fears about meeting oher sufferers were quickly forgotten and I really enjoyed the two hours, which just flew by. It was decided to meet up once a month so can't wait to be goiing again in January 2012. Thanks to all at the PSPA who organise these wonderful events for us all. Best wishes to all. Sue Wilson xxx
