Hi Jill,

So sorry to here your story. I know PSP only too well as I lost my Step-Dad a few weeks ago to it. Having said we had some fantastic times despite his condition. I wish I could wave a magic wand but sadly I can't.

Instead I would like to say the two conditions are different and breast cancer has a really good recovery rate. My cousin is being treated at the moment and she has said that it has been nowhere as bad as she thought - I'm hoping knowing this will give you a little comfort and hope.

I wish you all the luck for the 6th Dec and hope that your results come back with positive results that make you sigh with relief. Try to stay strong .... it's a difficult time for you but there are lots of people here who truly care and wish you a very speedy recovery.

Sending you lots of love and hugs ......

Tree Hugger xXx

Hi Jill

So sorry to hear about the cancer diagnosis. My thoughts are with you and your partner. Please remember, as mentioned by Tree Hugger, the recovery rate for breastcancer is excellent. I have several friends/neighbours who can confirm this.

Please keep positive, I will be thinking of you on the 6th.

Hello Jill, Keep strong at this difficult time, and you will get through what is necessary, with a positive attitude, and it will carry you on towards overcoming and getting rid of your cancer, as I have, because I never entertained the fact that it wasnt all being taken away. Also I had and still have been looking after my sister who has PSP and had breast cancer many years ago, which she too survived. She has always been such an inspiration to all her family with her determination to make the most of life and it has done wonders for her, and for all of us around her. Love Life for what it has to offer and look for Blessings to Count each day.

Love from Angelin

Oh Jill, this makes me so mad. Life is just cruel sometimes. When I read the beginning in my email, I actually said, please don't let it be Jill. I had a double mastectomy 2 years ago and am doing fine. I know with your positive attitude, you will still be smiling. I am thinking about you. Love MJ

Hi Jill,

What can I say, I'm so sorry to hear your news. Life is so hard and unfair. You always come across as being so positive about your psp, do the same with your cancer and hopefully you will make a good recovery.

My best wishes to you especially on the 6th and onwards.

Due to the effects of anathesia on PSP, Alzhiemers, and other brain disorders I'd ask for it being done under local anathesia and not being "put under" for the operation. PSP patients have issues coming back to where they were before surgery and having anathesia experiences.

Oh Jill, you poor thing! My heart broke when I read this post! You are always such an inspiration on this blog for those who are suffering.

I hope that the procedure on the 6th will clear up any issues but I know you will have a tough time with the anethetic and post op recovery.

My thoughts are with you and hopefully you bounce back better than ever!

Kindest and loving regards,

Sheri
