This is the post I’ve been dreading for years. My Mom passed away 24 hours ago. She’s had PSP for 15 years. I will miss her terribly and I will love her always and forever. My only solace is that now she’s no longer suffering. She’s free at last from this horrible disease. May God Bless her soul and May She Rest In Peace.

So sorry sam to hear your sad news. 10th March marked the first year since we lost our mum to this dreadful disease.
It doesn’t Make it any easier but there is a certain relief to know there free of the grasp of PSP .

I join the others in sending my heartfelt condolences. She endured a very long time, a tribute to the care you gave her, I am sure. Be at peace, as the others say, that you did your ultimate best... everything you could and that she now is looking over you with a peaceful smile of love and thanksgiving. God Bless you! My husband, this minute, is waiting for the caregiver to get him up for the day. My hands no longer work as they did. We continue as long as the Lord will allow. Care for yourself now.

Lost my mum just over 4 years ago and there isn’t a day I don’t think about her and what’s she’s missed out on since.Remember all the good times as I do and you’re right you’re mother is in a better place, no longer suffering.

Your Mom endured this damned disease longer than most. She must have had tremendous strength and will.
