I hope everyone is finding slivers of joy through the holidays. Difficult days for many of you I am sure; same here. But, finding joy in the simple things really does make the difference. I have not been on here for awhile, and I struggle posting without being able to share a photo --- I am a visual type personality.
So -- not sure why I am unable to post with a photo -- on my computer or my handheld device. I shall reach out for some support here with the Help Center and see if they will help me! Until then ... Virtual hugs to you all!

Hey Alice!! I hope you are well! I am doing okay. Its been a hard month for us -- Mom is very quiet, and her whispers are even diminished. My heart is shredding slowly. I think I am experiencing significant anticipatory grief. This Christmas morning, I enjoyed some wonderful moments with Mom -- and I really want to share with everyone -- with photos! You know I love my photos, but I can t post them on here for some reason. I do have a lot to share with you all, and I will -- as I write this, my sweet Momma is napping --- she sleeps more and more every day -- about 2 - 4 hours on average each afternoon. Hugs to you my friend. xo
I have to admit that I clicked on my notification of your post wanting to see the joy of your mom reflected in her smile. However I understand the difficulty because of the constantly changing interface of this site.
Happy Holidays and dare I say Merry Christmas to you and your mom Kim. I see your posts on Facebook and if that is the only place you can share pictures of your smiling mom, then that will just have to do. My love to you and your family. Tony

Hi Kim, You and your Mom have been on my mind recently, good to hear from you. I was concerned when we were not seeing any posts. 😏. Enjoy hearing from you , photos or not! Your photos are amazing and I look forward to them, but please stay in touch even if you can't post a photo. Sorry to hear about the increased changes you are noticing with your Mom. Anticipatory grief is real, and I think most who are dealing with progressing disorders , experience grief throughout the many days of caregiving. I know I certainly am, along with some denial as a protective measure to help cope with the losses and changes. Each day is a new chance to be present and supportive with each other and those we care for. Take care
