My beautiful wife passed away on the 15th December I am heartbroken she died in our local hospice where she use to work and this was where she wanted to be. I have never felt pain like this and I've cried every day. We'd been together for 45 years. I've got to stay strong I have 2 daughters and 4 grandsons to think about. This horrible disease took her at 62 years young I dunno how I can live without her.

Dearest Evertonian my heart goes out to you. I believe tears are our way of trying to flush out our heartbreaking saddness. Your daughters will understand & your grandsons will learn that is OK for strong men to cry.
If you are like me ... you don't want others to see your tears... We really should not worry about that when we are sharing our feelings with loved ones.

I am so sorry for your loss. My bride and I have been together since high school as well. She has had psp about 5years now and I am dreading the day I have to say goodbye to her. Right now I am too busy to think too much about this. She is only 52, and we have kids in high school and college and two grandsons. I have to hold it together for them, and like you, that’s what is probably going to keep me together afterward. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Wishing you peace and hope for you and your remaining family

Dear Billy I am so sad for you. Your grief comes over in your lovely words. They are lovely you know? Full of love for your dear wife. She was lucky to be so loved for 45 years. So sad for you that you are feeling the worst pain ever. Your children and Grandchildren will love you forever though. Your wife will watch over you too. My husband died 2 years ago in February coming, and this new normal is hard there is no denying that.
When I saw your screen name it made me smile. My son and Granddaughter are both Everton supporters.
I don't know what you are doing today but raise a glass to that beautiful lady and her life. I am so glad she got to die where she wanted to. You did well Billy.

young, you know my tears flo too, my Kathy is 64 and we have been married 45 years ,like you i don't know how i will cope when the time comes when she passes,all i can say to you is stay strong gather your
daughters arround you,may peace and love be with you,get yourself
involved with outdoor activities,i find gardening helps take the pain

Dear Billy, so sorry to hear that you have lost the love of your life. I lost my husband in May and he was only 66yrs, we had lots of plans for our retirement that never reached fruition, so sad. I'm sure your family will be a great support to you in the coming days, months and years and that the pain will lessen, it's a tough time and you will need their love and support.
Take care of yourself and give yourself time and space to grieve.

Billy, I am so sorry for your devastating loss.
PSP is the most cruel fate to happen to a loved one, and losing your dearest would be hard enough to bear without it. I know, as I lost my husband this summer, so I have the deepest sympathy for what you are going through. You won't feel like carrying on, but you know deep down that you must - so you will.
