Michel passed away

He had aspiration pneumonia caused by PSP. We had 57 happy years together before this terrible disease which is unknown by most people who do not understand how or why someone would die so fast from pneumonia. He was 79.

Dear Suzanne, So sorry for your loss. My husband and I also had 57 years together. At first after he died I was full of memories of his battle with PSP . It has been a year now and I am much more in touch with how he was during most of our time together. Happy but sad !!!

My Brian too ,passed away end of July had asp . Pneumonia and died so quickly more quickly than we expected thought we’d have more time and more warning , about 4 weeks hospital and hospice , better for them to be free but hard to take , we had 50 years luckier than some

As you know, our loved ones have died just about the same time. How are you doing? It has now been over 3 months and it seems like yesterday that Michel left this world. I am getting help and support from my children but also from a therapist. As well I am part of a grieving support group. I wish I would have had all this help when I was carer. Hoping you are doing as well as can be.
