Oral thrush

Im new, but have some vital info for those suffering from oral thrush. Do not eat honey, despite the claims made. yes it has fantastic properties as an anti inflamatory and its abillity to produce hydrogen peroxide which kills the candida cells. you are feeding the candida with sugar, a natural one at that, but still sugar. I say this from experience. Having read the claims that natural honey has the abillity to kill the candida cells, i went for it. The blasted scurge exploded within days. it was bad enough to start with..white tongue, spots on my tonsils and burning sensation. i was doing ok on the Fluconozole, pro biotics and caprillic acid, now 6 weeks has been wiped off because of the sugar in honey. i strongly urge all of you to quit sugar in any form, including carbohydrates until this dreaded scurge has gone. you have to starve the blighter of the very substance it needs to survive. once your free, it may take some time, carry on the no suger diet for a while after to avoid it coming back, so the experts say. Also, stay off the antibees, especially penicillin if you can, it loves penicillin too. i've just completed 6 doses of chemotherapy and i have been ill for 5 years, but even after all the cancer treatment i have had, which is bad enough, oral thrush is the worst i have had to deal with.

Hi Taddy

Thanks - That's useful to know. I hope you got clear of that 'scurvy'.

Welcome to the site too. :)

Have you got clear of the cancer?

It sounds as if you have had a plate full.

Do you want to introduce yourself?

Waiving :)

Kevin

Hi Kevin, thanks for the reply.

Im still waiting for the all clear, but the sign's look good. The candida came as a result of too many courses of antibee's and a suppressed immune system. im still fighting it and making all the common mistakes as people do. A lot of GP's dont fully understand the problem, so you have to do a great deal of research youtself. its a nasty pathogen that takes any advantage it can, and statistics show its on the rise. for those afflicted is can be the ultimate misery and if it goes systemic it can make you incredibly ill.

I thought if i could find anything that helps and speeds up recovery of this nasty affliction, then i would share my findings, but only if it works!
