A YEAR TODAY

Today was a year since Don died. Did I ever mention that he and our daughter died on the same day 30 years apart ? I am hurting so badly. The picture was before he really got bad.

I hope that you have great friends, beauty and music in your life every day, are fortunate to have good health despite the ordeals you have suffered, precious time for whatever makes you smile and gets you through the days, and as time goes on are able to focus more and more on great memories past and experiencing more wonderful moments today and in your future ! You are truly not alone in this crazy world which seems to hit us with way too many horrendous overwhelming things. Geez ! I'm beginning to remind myself of those disgusting self help books or pat self motivating one liners ! I swear that I am truly not that kind of person !

So, thinking of you and the weight of the sadness you are shouldering and send you caring thoughts at this rougher milestone time . The world out there needs your smile though as do you, so don't hide it away ! You have a beautiful smile ! Be well and please take good care of yourself !

Audrey I remember when you lost Don. However I didn't know your daughter had died 30years previously to the day. That must be so very hard for you. What a handsome man Don was? So sad just like you. As you say we will probably never get over this.
