What does one do with this card. Does the patient have it or the carer? actually I like it when one meets someone who is unfamiliar with symptoms; kinda nice to pull it out before the "talk"....

Keep in your wallet or car - I can't imagine Jack being without me but anything can happen!!! I think the old Parkinson's group gave us cards once upon a time ago. We have gone our separate ways in the grocery store~he in the Amigo- It took me a long time to find him once, he went through the check-out without me . Because he was sitting, didn't see him😆

Although I usually end up doing the talking, his showing it to someone gives him a measure of control and allows him to do his own explaining in a way.

This is a just a photocopy of an actual card sent to us by CurePSP.

It should be easy enough to make a sheet of credit card-sized copies to hand out.

Hi Finoni. Very good description. I did something similar for hubby but added a heading in very bold "I do not suffer from dementia ". Was usually the only line people read. Love Maddy x
