I can't believe it, my nan died 3 weeks ago from CBD and now my Grandad has died. Had a Heart attack. Got airlifted to a hospital and he died whilst I was holding him. I don't know who to speak to, I am in so much shock, I was only with him last night. Absolutely heartbroken x

Am so sorry! You have been hit with a double wammy! But it can happen to two people who love each other that when one goes the other follows fairly quickly.

Life seems unfair at times. But be thankful he did not have to suffer like your man.

Death is a shock however it comes. We will be here for you when you need us!

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this very sad time.

Hugs

Keira I am so very sorry. Maybe he wanted to be with your Nan? At least they are together now? I know how shocked you must be feeling. You were very close to them and that although very hard at present will be a great comfort to you. To know they realised how much you loved them will give you comfort.

I wish I could give you a big hug. A virtual one will have to do though. Lots of love to you.

Keira I’m so sorry and understand your shock. My parents recently died my dad 19 days after my mum but we knew that he wanted to go as soon as he knew of her death. We are having a joint funeral service for them on Tuesday and I take a lot of comfort from knowing this is exactly what they wanted. I believe that they are now with God and very happy. Xx

I'm sending the biggest hug to you.from your previous posts it was clear how close your are to your Nan and Grandad. Life can be so difficult at times. Shock is a natural response to try to protect you from the intense emotions and trauma.

Is there anyone you can talk to about this, maybe someone who is trained in grief such as Cruse as this is so much to take in.

Xxx

I am sorry for your loss, but when it is my turn, I hope to leave the stage in a similar "lights out" fashion, even though it leaves our loved ones shocked. I am glad that he managed to hang on until his caring role was complete. Their work is done. You are their legacy. x

Thank you all. I just can't get my head around it. Spoke with the family and we're going to do the exact same send off as my nan had and have been asked to speak again.

Don't know how were going to get through this but what was weird he told me the other day " I want to die with a massive heart attack' and the morning he died, he paid off my nans funeral and sorted the will out, it's like he knew. God bless them both x
