He’s passed

Barry passed away on Friday 3rd November at 11.45.

Through all of our 41 years together it has got to have been the hardest 2 months.

I was unable to care for him at home, so it had to be a nursing home. Everyday I was with him for at least ten hours everyday. For the last five days I never left him alone. I was even given a guest bed to stay in his room with him.

I have never in my life met such a caring bunch of staff. Nothing was too much trouble. They all knew the end was very close and they each, all and everyone of them came to say their goodbyes on the Thursday. Even those that were off work.

So my darling is now free of this dreadful disease

Deb I am so very sorry you have lost Barry. However he is now free of the awful disease. May he rest in peace. He has certainly earned that peace as indeed all our loved ones have. I know how hard this is as do so many of us.

I'm so sad to hear this. Sorry I'm late in answering, dealing with pneumonia and now UTI with Charles. You and Barry are free of this but know I'm thinking of you with love.

You did it right all along. Hardest thing we'll ever do.
