A bit of happiness....

Mum has started using a letter board to spell out words as her speech is pretty much non existent. It's been slow going and she gets a bit muddled up with the letters occasionally but last night she spelt out I Love you...... my beautiful courageous mum is still in there somewhere.... ❤

Oh that must have made you smile and cry at the same time. So cruel it takes away their means of communication when they are still there on the inside, probably screaming to get out from under PSP. Love to ye both xx

Your post has put a huge lump in my throat but a huge smile for your mum. Not being able to utter a single word is pure torture. How we all hate PSP the destroyer. Jx

That's lovely. Enjoy these precious moments and savour them. My mum unfortunately can no longer communicate at all. What I would do to hear my mum say something.
