Just thought when your with your loved one who is poorly and suffering.

Hold to these words when we see them and maybe sing them a little soft song or talk softly and quietly to them about the weather or nature or a poem or paragraph or page or too from a book you/they would of liked anything magical they like to make goodness I mean this in the sweetest kindest wayxxx make even write a love heart or I love you with one of your fingers softly on their skin ie if poss :hand ,arm ,cheek whatever is good for that very special person .just an idea xxx

Your posts are always wise and wonderful Kevin xxxx

I write magic moments every day and hold on to them

Here's a few of mine.

Hearing my mums voice on the phone.

Looking at picture of me and my dad .

A cuddle with my eldest daughter which she has just magically given to me with a cup of tea mmmmmmm I'm so lucky.

Hearing my youngest daughter say hello and watching her brush her long beautiful brown hair .

My husband kissing me goodbye and going food shopping for us all .

The clouds as I look out my window. The birds beautifully singing .

Fresh air flowing through my bedroom window and when I step outside how lucky am I !!!!

To feel the fresh air against my skin and just breathe !!!!!

Boy I need too don't you think ???? Oh dear I say to myself xxxx or WOW !!!!!XX😚

It is a great quote... I've made it part of daily mantra for years now.

Definitely. Started off iffy with loads of washing but then a lovely visit from sister in law and niece, then son, daughter in law and 2 grandchildren. Bonus was son fed hubby his pureed meal which he still has even though he has peg. A couple of glasses of prosecco and the world has a rosy glow hic. Marie

Well Prosecco can reach those parts mind training does not always reach... Chuckles

Good for you! :)

Today is our 25th wedding anniversary. Had a day out and a wee glass of bubbly tonight. At some points didn't think this would happen but here we are. Happy days.

Thanks, it was lovely but touched with sadness as I suppose these types of events make you look back over what's happened and also highlight that life hasn't quite worked out as you expected! I'm looking out the window at a pink sky tonight so the promise of another day of sun and blue sky brings me some comfort- wishing the same for all on this forum 🌞

Yes, our happy times are tinged with the sadness of what we will loose.

Thoughtless of me.

Some poster here told me a couple of years ago to gather up good memories where you may. (Yes, I do remember who you are :) - I was so grateful for that simple wise insight.)

Wishing you a colourful bright dawn tomorrow.

Warmly

Kevin

Not thoughtless at all. It just occurred to me that in my desperation to mark it as a special day ( which it was) I just managed to make it feel a bit sadder. I don't even know if that makes sense. Thanks for your kindness. Only just starting to be active on the forum but get the feeling it's going to be really important to me.

Hi Dolka

It's kept me going and the information, collectively, is bar none.

There is very little off the wall stuff and a lot of hard won experience and information.

I hope you find it useful and supportive too.
