Going home for Easter?

I'm planning on going to visit my mother and sister today through Monday for the Easter holiday. However, I was informed this morning that the facility where I live will not send my medications with me due to some BS that no one appears to be capable of explaining to me. I therefore have the choice of going and spending my holiday in bed at my mother's house or spending my holiday here in bed with my medications. This all seems to derive from the failure of the cardiologist to specifically order my meds to be sent with me.

My mom is 84 years old and this could be the last chance I get to see her. On the other hand, it is hardly fair to her that I will not be able to participate in family activities due to overwhelming pain and fatigue. Not sure what to do.

I applied for this pass ten days ago. These people don't have their act together and now I am furious. This really sucks. I have vowed to quit PWA (posting while angry) and I won't make it through Lent.

My understanding that in the U.K. they are your meds. and not theirs. Must be different regulations.

So plan another trip and tell the *** to sort the meds. problem out?

House rules. Like Nazis when it comes to narcotics. Anyway, they gave in at the last minute and I came home. All's well that ends well I suppose.
